They lack clear success criteria, making it difficult to determine whether product development is truly aligned with business goals. As a result, efforts focus onthe wrong metrics, and individual teams operate with different priorities, complicating effective collaboration andassessment of real progress.

The training "How to Effectively Use Data for Digital Product Development" will help organize this chaos. Participants will learn toidentify, define, and implement the right success criteria for their products,link product metrics to company KPIs and build a practicalmeasurement model to support development decisions. This way, the entireteam will gain a common data language and tools to work on the product in a measurable, focused, and aligned manner with the organization's goals.

The meeting will be interactive, featuring elements of group work and discussions with the facilitators and other participants.

The training takes place online on Google Meet using a Miro board (no account creation needed, basic usage is simple). A functioning microphone and camera are essential (it’s best to use a computer).

Decision-making model

You will become familiar with the key decision-making methods - their strengths and weaknesses. You will understand the relationships between strategy, objectives, OKRs, KPIs, metrics, and measurement models.

Types of metrics

You will learn about the types of metrics and indicators, how they differ from each other, and how to effectively select them according to your needs.

Creating product metrics

You will learn how to design product metrics from the idea stage, through defining them, and finally implementing them. You will practice this skill during the workshop.

Measurement model in product development

If metrics are words, then measurement models are sentences. We will show you how to build models that comprehensively measure the product's condition and tell its story.
