What is the difference between mentoring and coaching?
Mentoring is a process in which an experienced mentor shares their knowledge and experience, offering support, inspiration, and specific developmental guidance – it is more focused on providing practical advice and personal experiences.
Coaching, as defined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is a process of accompanying the client in a creative process that encourages thinking and inspires the maximization of professional and personal potential. Coaching is aimed at achieving specific, measurable goals; the coach does not provide ready-made solutions but supports you in independently discovering solutions and realizing your potential through tasks and questions.
How much does collaboration cost?
The price quote is prepared individually after the first free meeting, when I can better understand your needs and the scope of support. Typically, the rates range from 200 to 500 PLN per hour.
How long does the process take?
Such processes typically require about 3-10 meetings, usually spaced 1-2 weeks apart. The length and intensity of the process are determined individually based on your needs.
What does the first free meeting consist of?
The first 30-minute meeting is free and serves to get to know each other and to check if coaching fits your professional needs in the data field. It takes place online at a convenient time and does not commit you to further cooperation.
After the meeting, we will summarize the conclusions together and decide whether to continue – without pressure or obligations. This is an opportunity to assess if I can effectively help you.
What experience do you have in this area?
Tomek has been working in the field of data and analytics for over 20 years. In 2020, he completed his studies in "Practical Studies of Coaching Skills" at Mukoid Institute, obtaining a certification in ACSTH ICF, and since then he has been conducting coaching processes mainly supporting individuals in the data & analytics field in their professional development. Additionally, he participated as a mentor in the Sofixit: Big Data - Big Challenges Mentoring Program, assisting mentees in changing their career paths.
